Talk UK Telecom Proudly Sponsors Luton Boxing Champion Tysie Gallagher

At Talk UK, supporting our local community has always been a big part of who we are.

So when the opportunity came along to sponsor Luton’s own professional boxer Tysie Gallagher, it was one we were very proud to get behind.

Tysie has an incredible story. She grew up in Luton, started boxing at just 11 years old and has gone on to build a successful professional career, becoming a British champion along the way.

But it isn’t simply what Tysie has achieved in the ring that made us want to support her.

Her determination, resilience and commitment to the town she comes from really stood out to us.

More than boxing

We’ve got to know Tysie through our shared connection with Stepping Stones, another Luton organisation very close to our hearts.

Tysie is an ambassador for the charity, which supports women and their children affected by domestic abuse and other challenging circumstances.

Talk UK has supported Stepping Stones for a number of years, so there is a lovely connection between the three of us: a Luton business, a Luton charity and a Luton sporting champion.

We’ve even had the opportunity to step into the boxing gym with Tysie ourselves.

We can confirm that she makes it look considerably easier than it is.

Proud to be in Tysie’s corner

Tysie is now preparing for the next chapter of her professional boxing career, and Talk UK Telecom will be proudly in her corner as one of her sponsors.

For us, sponsorship like this is about more than putting a logo somewhere.

It’s about using our business to support people and organisations within the community around us.

Talk UK has been part of the Luton and Bedfordshire business community for many years. We employ locally, work with businesses across the area and try, wherever we can, to support the charities, events and people doing brilliant things here.

Tysie is one of those people.

We’re incredibly proud to be supporting her and can’t wait to see what comes next.

Good luck, Tysie. The whole Talk UK team is behind you. 🥊
